Internet Training Recertification Courses

WSU Urban IPM and Pesticide Safety Education offers recertification Internet one-credit courses for several states ( ID, NV, WA). Access to courses is through an Internet Recertification Course Shopping Cart.

Each course provides for one recertification credit and costs $10. Courses take approximately 50 minutes to complete. You must complete the course to obtain state recertification credits. You may only take a course ONCE for credit during a calendar year, however, the course can be repeated the following year for credit.

To enroll for a course or for several courses, each attendee/licensee must have a unique e-mail address. When you purchase a course, you must enter your pesticide license number and issuing state, for any and all states for which you require credits. (See helpful hints below)

Once you have registered for your course(s), you can log on at http://breeze.wsu.edu/ using your email address as your user name.

Note: WSU employees cannot use a WSU Purchase Card to buy courses. To use this online feature, call 5-2830 with an IRI.

Course Approval by States
The following states have approved courses.

Check to make sure the course you select has been approved by the state in which you hold a license/certification.

• Each course description details which states have approved the course. You may also conduct a "search" by state name to find all approved courses.
• WA - Limited Private Applicators must take core laws and safety, or weed courses.
• NV - must have one course in Laws, one in Safety and the others can be in any other course. You can not repeat a course during a two-calendar-year period.

Purchase Course or Courses

• Purchase must be made with a credit card.
• Courses are only valid during the calendar year in which they are purchased; expiration is December 31 of each calendar year.
• You may purchase more than one course at a time.
• For people who do not hold a pesticide license, enter NONE as your license number and select the state in which you reside. NONE will be your password.

Access Courses

• You will receive a registration e-mail with course URL.
• Your login is your email address, and your password is your pesticide license number, or the word NONE for those who do not have a license.
• Save your e-mail and password for later use.
• Use the URL link in Course Registration e-mail to access courses.

Helpful Hints

• E-mail Address: get a unique e-mail address at no charge from www.yahoo.com, or www.hotmail.com
• Full screen - click full screen in course
• Volume - turn up speakers, turn up computer volume
• View printed narration - click slide notes in course
• Print or Record completion information at end of course (or print)
• Check your account for your completion report
