Internet Recertification Courses
These courses have been approved for continuing education credit by several states (Alaska, Arizona, Idaho, Maryland, Nevada, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Washington, and West Virginia). Before purchasing a course verify that your state has approved that particular course for credit.

FIND A COURSE
Before purchasing a course in the shopping cart, verify that your state has approved the course for credit.
- Type the full name of your state in the FIND box to see a list of your state's approved courses.
- Each licensee taking a course for credit must have a unique e-mail address (not a general address used by many).
- All courses expire December 31 at midnight.
- Courses take approximately 50 minutes to complete.
- You must complete the course according to time stipulations in order to obtain state recertification credits. You must listen to all of the audio narration. If you complete the course in under the required time, you agree to forfeit your purchase and will not receive credits.
- You may only take a course ONCE for credit during a calendar year; however, the course can be repeated the following year for credit (except for Nevada, see below). There are no limits on the number of different courses you can select.
Course Approval by States
Make sure your state has approved the course for credit by reviewing the course description.
The following states have approved courses:

Check to make sure the course you select has been approved by the state in which you hold a license/certification.
- Maryland, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia - make sure you check the course description for the "category approval".
- Nevada - must have one course in Laws, one in Safety and the others can be on any other topic. You cannot repeat a course during a two-calendar-year period.
- Idaho - limits people to no more than 50% of credits can come from Internet Courses.
PURCHASE COURSE
- Under "Category List" Menu in the shopping cart: click on Laws, Safety, and Environment or Pest Management to browse course titles.
- Review course descriptions.
- Use the “Buy now” button and a Visa or MasterCard to purchase a course
- Each course provides for one recertification credit and costs $15 (Except West Virginia and Maryland for which each course provides two recertification credits).
- You may purchase more than one course at a time.
- For each course purchased, select only the quantity of one.
- For people who do not hold a pesticide license, enter NONE as your license number and select the state in which you reside. NONE will be your password.
- Note: WSU employees cannot use a WSU Purchase Card to buy courses. To use this online feature, call 509-335-2830 with an IRI.
ACCESS AND TAKE COURSE
Access a purchased course at http://breeze.wsu.edu/ using your email address as your user name and license number as your password.
Take course:
- If necessary, Click My Training in the upper menu bar
- Click Open to start a module
- Once completed, the Complete Column will say TRUE (FALSE indicates course is not completed; click for help)

- E-mail Address: get a unique e-mail address (if needed) at no charge from www.yahoo.com, or www.hotmail.com
- Full screen - click full screen in course
- Volume - turn up speakers, turn up computer volume
- View printed narration - click slide notes in course
- Check your account for your completion report (click for help)
